A free, politically neutral platform with a privacy-safe classroom mode. Students learn how change actually happens by doing it, not simulating it.
Designed for middle and high school civics and government classes, and junior college political science courses.
A classroom quick-start you can run without policy expertise, on a platform built to protect students and stay neutral.
A privacy-safe mode that collects nothing from students: no logins, no accounts, no tracking. Turn it on with a single link and the whole class is protected by default.
Turn on privacy-safe classroom mode with one link, and get our starter guide for running a real civic action unit. Full curriculum in development. Request it below and you'll be among the first to get it.
Acta reflects each student's stated position and never takes one of its own. A conservative and a progressive student get the same quality of tools, so the classroom stays balanced.
Students research a real issue, find their actual representatives, draft real letters, and build a real campaign, civic engagement they can watch work, not a worksheet.
Designed to support the C3 Framework for Social Studies and the civics-education requirements a growing number of states now mandate, so it fits the standards you already teach to.
Name your class and we'll generate a link. Share it with students. Anyone who opens it is in classroom mode, and Acta collects nothing from them: no logins, no accounts, no tracking.
Two full course units exist today: a term-long unit for high school civics and a month-long unit for junior college political science. Both are inquiry-led, built around real civic action on the live platform, not a classroom simulation, and district-neutral by design, with the sequence, the platform integration, the neutrality safeguards, and the assessment philosophy already worked out. What they are not yet is standards-aligned. That part belongs to a teacher. We are looking for a small number of credentialed educators to co-develop the units: align them to your state's standards, write the rubrics, and adapt them to your students. This is unpaid, collaborative work, not a contract. What you get directly is a standards-aligned, ready-to-teach curriculum built for your own classroom, and your classroom shapes the curriculum every Acta classroom gets, with your name on it if you want it there.
No partnership needed to start: the one-period starter guide is ready today, and you can run it tomorrow.
Optional: leave your email and we will send the classroom resource pack when it is ready. Everything on this page works without it.
Tell us a little about your class and we'll help you set up classroom mode. The full curriculum is in development. You'll be among the first to get it when it ships. Free for any educator, no school budget required.
